Isle of Arran, Scotland at Sunset

Hi Folks! The West Coast of Scotland is a very beautiful place, from the southernmost tip to the very north, with varied different landscapes. This shot was taken about 15 miles south of the City of Glasgow and looks out at the Island of Arran from Ayr.

We often take our caravan to Ayr. The Caravan and Motorhome Club has a superb site there and it is close to Ayr town centre. Lots of good cafes and restaurants for filling up with food and if you walk or drive to the beachfront, you can be rewarded with views like this one!

Thanks for visiting once again. See you soon!

John

    • Thanks! I just wanted to say that your blog is amazing and I love the mix of beautiful photographs and your experiences! Your trip to Mull and the other islands has got me wanting to go…now!!! However, being of an older age group and immunosuppressed it will have to wait until the elusive vaccine is found! You have another follower! Look forward to your future posts and photographs! John

      • Awww what a lovely comment, thank you so much John! 🙂 You’ve put a big smile on my face (and goodness knows we need that at the moment!). I hope it becomes safe enough for you to travel again sooner rather than later. Looking forward to seeing more of your photos too! 🙂
